After a good 7 year run, I'm selling San Juan 28 sailboat. Stormbringer is hull #160, built in 1978. I have recently moved to Lakeland, and just don't get out to use it very much.
She is a very capable boat, that is great in light flucky winds and has the pedigree to stand up to a blow. Whether you are daysailing, or out for a beer-can regatta you will be pleased with her characteristics.

LOA 28' 8
The engine is in good shape, a 15hp Yanmar diesel. about 400hrs since the rebuild which was done in 2000 I believe, before I bought her. Main -new in 2004 (Original main also included)
150 Genoa
Blade
Symetirc Spinnaker in Sock
Light air Symetric Spinnaker no sock
Asymetric Spinnaker no sock
Exterior in good condition. Decks were painted using Interlux about 3 years ago. It is time for a bottom job however. There is a bit of wear damage to one corner of the bimini, which can be patched. The only other glaring issue is the start button needs to be thoroughly cleaned every few years as corrosion inside makes it hard to start at times. Not a huge issue, considering how easy the boat is to sail. I often motor out and sail into the slip anyway. The interior is in good shape, 6'3" Headroom through main saloon. Will sleep 5 in v-berth double, fold out double, and quater berth. Lots of custom canvas work inside and out makes for convenient storage and protects the sail and other outside surfaces. Double burner alcohol stove and magma railmount grill. Head was replaced in 2005. 12 gallon holding tank, 15 gallon fresh water, 20 gallon fuel.
Slips may be available at the St Pete Municipal Marina. I can't say enough about this wonderful, affordable location.
