I have not been able to get down to Chad's much recently. Last session we finished striping my hull up to the turn of the bilge. Then we started our first bevels on his strips . The EasyB design has very little rocker, but there is a pretty good twist on the strips at this point as they approach the stern. Until now we have just been able to lay our cedar and pine strips flat. Chad has a nice belt sander that we were able to adjust the platform on that made beveling the strips we have done so far a breeze. The bevel is not constant, it has to match the curve. That was pretty quick with a careful had on the sander. Hopefully I can get over there Sunday to put some more strips on mine. Looks like we won't be getting to glass these before the heat of the Florida summer though!!
